Toy Soldiers, Nerf Guns, and One Bad Dog.

As Alex mentioned earlier, our group started filming this weekend! We all did two four-hour shoots on both Saturday and Sunday, and got a good chunk of our filming done. Saturday, while we were all very eager to start, we ran into some obstacles along the way that unfortunately had our talent waiting around for quite some time, but luckily, they were both very cooperative (I'm sure the pizza that Liz generously provided didn't hurt either). Jackie thankfully brought her camera along both days for continuity, while also managing to get some great behind-the-scenes pictures. Also, after a couple of failed printers, we managed to use her camera to get a great "candid" photo of our two main characters:

The actors were really great, and turned out to be just what we were looking for. Sunday,
started to shoot outside, and we were lucky enough to not have it rain on us. We also met the
neighborhood dog, Buddy, who simply wanted to play the whole time, and really enjoyed getting
in all of our shots. He also managed to eat a couple of our sandwiches from a sealed container,
but thats a story for another time. Because of everything we went through with him, our group
became, "Bad Buddy Productions."

After Alex got us all to stop fawning over the puppy, we got back to work and finished up an already-successful day with some good old-fashioned Nerf Gun fighting, which God knows, we all had a little too much fun with. Overall, it was a great two days, and I hope the rest of our shoots continue to go just as well!
